Sin Build – New World Season 10 DPS Guide

This New World Season 10: Nighthaven Sin Build focuses on building upon the strengths of Sin, which are keeping debuffs applied on the enemy for longer periods of time, enabling higher damage by the rest of your team. This is considered one version of a Rend Bot Build. The DPS this specific build applies is usually a bit lower than the Hatchet DPS Build due to comparing weapon perks, and skill tree differences, but it is a large utility job while still outputting viable DPS if you keep yourself alive.

Additional Rend builds:

How to Play

  1. Path of Destiny
  2. Shockwave
  3. Armor Breaker
  4. Berserk
  5. 3 light attacks
  6. Rending Throw
  7. 3 light attacks
  8. Infected Throw

Ideally you want to rotate 3 light attacks between each ability, and with Refreshing Move on Sin, this helps keeps cooldowns active at most times. Rending Throw comes first because we want to get the Rend activated as soon as possible, so other teammates can do more damage sooner.

Empower details

Powerful Honing Stone 7%
Berserk 20%
Oblivion (team) 15%
Leadership (team) 10%
Total 52%

Empower is capped at 50%, but having more than 50% can help you manage to stay at cap at all times. To know where your current Empower total stands, check out the Empower Calculator.

Tips to Remember

The Berserk cooldown can feel very long, so keep up the light attacks between abilities to get hits with Refreshing Move in often. The Tenacity Ring from PvP track could also be a very good fit here.
