Typical Buffs and Trophies

You should ideally have 5 buffs above your health bar, and Major trophies at each of your 3 houses matching the enemy type you are facing. For example:

How to Play

  1. Activate Berserk to gain 20% empower
  2. Use Rending Throw to apply 20% rend for 10s to one enemy
  3. Hit with 4 light attacks
  4. Use Raging Torrent to refresh the light attack chain, and cooldown other abilities
  5. Hit with 4 light attacks
  6. Use next ability that is off cooldown

The key to this rotation is using a full 4 light attacks and following up immediately with an ability. Refreshing Torrent is key to being able to keep this rotation going smoothly.

Depending on which offhand weapon you pick will determine when you should use it. For example with Inferno, you may start the fight with Incinerate to apply Weaken first, and use this as a fallback when you are unable to use a Hatchet ability after a few 4 light attack sequences.

Empower details

Keenly Empowered 13%
Berserk 20%
Powerful Honing Stone 7%
Leadership (tank) 10%
Oblivion (healer) 15%
Total 65%

Empower is capped at 50%, but having more than 50% can help you manage to stay at cap at all times. To know where your current Empower total stands, check out the Empower Calculator.

Tips to remember

In this exact build, Inferno will scale with Strength, making its abilities still viable for ranged damage if you are not able to be within melee range, which maximizes damage uptime.
