Offhand weapon skill tree’s can greatly differ from how those weapons are used as a mainhand. Check out the Rend Bot Guide for an example build of this role. This is an important role, so there is less flexibility in Gear Score minimums. There are a few variations on how you can play this role, however using a Sword and Shield as your mainhand allows you to fill 2 important team roles. Spear is not recommended for mainhand on this build since you will constantly be switching to War Hammer to cycle abilities and apply rend. Sundering Clear Out on War Hammer, Sundering Shockwave on armor, and Brutal Vines are vital to having success with this build.

This role is important for applying 3x stacks of 10% Rend, and 10% Weaken for a total of 30% each from the Perforate ability, while still doing high damage, and another 48% Weaken from Enfeebling Skewer. The offhand weapon is somewhat flexible, and is used to either provide extra debuffs, or boost the damage of your spear. Greataxe is a common favorite for its strong mob clump and weaken

This is an important role, so there is less flexibility in Gear Score minimums across the board. Having multiple Tower Shields, one with each Shield Ward perk can be very important for staying alive for the different bosses. Void Darkplate is a must, and Stalwart Stoneform provides the most flexibility to keep you alive in a pinch.

This is an important role, so there is less flexibility in Gear Score minimums for weapons and artifacts. If the team you join likes to run with 1 healer, be prepared to adjust your skill tree to compensate for this, potentially swapping Orb of Protection for Beacon. If you are a solo healer, using Fracture as an offhand can help keep your teammates keep themselves alive with extra lifesteal and burst heals.

This role can change depending on the team you get slotted with because some teams like to run 1 healer. So prepare to become more of a backup healer in a pinch, with your main focus being buffing allies with Oblivion, then swapping to Void Blade for more DPS. For this reason, the Void Gauntlet skill tree can be flexible, swapping Orb of Decay for Void Blade.
