Solo Healer Build – New World Season 10

The New World Solo Healer Build is a highly specialized setup for advanced teams tackling challenging content like the Isle of Night and Hive of Gorgons raids in New World. Centered around a Life Staff with two skill slots, paired with the Fracture Artifact with Leeching and Enchanted, this build is designed for a single healer to provide heals for a 10-man raid all by themselves, while also supporting through damage buffs, and debuffs. Tailored for groups with strong self-sustaining DPS, this build relies on precise ability rotations, optimized attributes, and carefully selected gear to keep the tank alive while empowering the team. Below, I outline the key components, including weapons, armor perks, jewelry, and gameplay strategies, to master the role of a solo healer. Updated for New World Season 10: Nighthaven

Skill Tree

Lifestaff skill tree is dependent on how confident you are in your Tank. If you are confident in your tank, use Orb of Protection. If you are not confident in your tank, use Divine Embrace. The Aegis upgrade for Orb of Protection is arguably better than the Divine Blessing ultimate in the Healing tree, which is why no ultimate is used.

How to Play

  1. Oblivion
  2. Essence Rupture
  3. Sacred Ground on Tank
  4. light attack
  5. Keen Beacon on DPS clump
  6. light attack
  7. Void Blade
  8. light attack x3
  9. Heavy Attack

Running one healer requires the overall team to be more advanced, as they will be more reliant on their own DPS for healing via the lifesteal from Fracture.

Heavy Attack with Void Blade with restore needed Mana.

Save Divine Embrace for when tank is low.

Empower details

Empowering Proximity x3 30%
Forsaken Pact 10%
Oblivion 15%
Powerful Honing Stone 7%
Total 62%

Empower is capped at 50%, but having more than 50% can help you manage to stay at cap at all times. To know where your current Empower total stands, check out the Empower Calculator.

Tips to remember

With an advanced team, they will be healing themselves a ton as long as Essence Rupture stays active on bosses, so they will mainly only need your damage buffs from Keen Beacon, Oblivion, and Rend from using Void Blade. Tank is the exception because there is some damage that is unavoidable to take.

Make sure you have your Healer targeting settings dialed in and that the Tank is in your preferred slot of the group for easy targeting. This will help with Sacred Ground targeting, and Divine Embrace targeting if you use it.
